Marianne Jaggard

Marianne Jaggard is an actress originally from Boston whose love for performing began in her early childhood. With a lifelong passion for storytelling, she is drawn to the power of emotion and the ability to move audiences through honest interpretations of the human condition. Known for her bubbly, generous, and determined spirit, Marianne brings focus, heart, and authenticity to every role she takes on.

Marianne has trained extensively in film, television, theatre, and voiceover with some of Los Angeles’ most respected teachers, including John Kirby — her greatest mentor and artistic influence — as well as Katie O’Brien, The Groundlings, Voice Masters, Tova Morcos, Robert Gunton, and Del Mar Media Arts. Her education includes countless workshops, classes, and private coaching sessions that have strengthened her versatility as an actress.

Her work spans theatre, film, TV, voiceover, and music. Notable projects include "The Hatchling", "Made in L.A.", and "Pulse". Marianne approaches character work by finding a piece of herself within each role, allowing her performances to be grounded, truthful, and deeply felt. She enjoys exploring a wide range of characters and is fueled by a desire to tell stories filled with depth, grit, and impact.

In this production, Marianne plays Wanda — a role that resonated with her immediately because of the character’s profound love, struggle, and emotional complexity. She connects personally with Wanda’s yearning to make the right choices and hopes her performance leaves audiences moved and inspired.

Driven by the desire to evoke genuine resonance in others, Marianne aims to tell stories that go straight to the heart. Outside of acting, she is passionately devoted to animals and art, proudly calling herself a Cat Mama of 12. If she weren’t an actress, she’d be running an animal shelter.
